Chub “Elbert” Lee Day, Sr., age 58, of the Paint Rock Community, departed this life on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home. He was born March 31, 1960 in the Montgomery Community to the late Sherman Day and Anna May Harness Day. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Day, Wilbert Day, Delbert Ray Day and Everett Day; sister, Flora May Day.

The family will receive friends for visitation 6:00 P.M. until time of funeral service at 8:00 P.M., Wednesday Evening, October 3, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Chuck Jeffers and Bro.

Fred Dann officiating. Music will be provided by Steve and Nora Chubb. Graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday Morning, October 4, 2018 at the Baptist Memorial Cemetery in Robbins, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be, Justin Byrge, Dusty Byrge, Shane Smith, Jon Loesch, Dwight Human, Dave Stringer, Jakota Baird and Michael Duncan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dwayne Human, Jerry Sexton, Chuckie Day, Matthew Day, David Baird, Beau Byrge and Layne Baird.
