Obituary for Clarence Edward “Eddie” Harrison Clarence Edward “Eddie” Harrison, age 55 of Baptist Valley, VA died Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital in Tazewell, VA. He was born June 15, 1963 at Middlesboro, KY and was the son of George T. Harrison and wife, Rhonda of Rosedale, VA and Janet Irene Inscore Harrison of Rural Retreat, VA. Eddie was a familiar face to many in the Baptist Valley community and he will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, those who survive to cherish his memory include his sister, Carol Hodge and husband, Walter of Richmond Hill, GA; one nephew, Jason Hodge and wife, Courtney of Baptist Valley, VA; one niece, Rebecca Hodge of Savanna, GA; great-nephew and great-niece, Joshua and Caliegh Hodge of Baptist Valley, VA; other family members and friends also survive. A Memorial Service will be held for Clarence Edward “Eddie” Harrison at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, VA with the Rev. Kenny Fields officiating.

All other services will be conducted privately. There will be no public visitation prior to the Memorial Service on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Hurst-Scott Funeral Home of Tazewell, VA is serving the family of Mr. Harrison and those wishing to express sympathy online may do so at www.
