Bennettsville Mr. Clarence Stanley “Stan” Lintner, Jr., 91, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019, at McLeod Health Cheraw after an illness. Mr. Lintner was born on May 24, 1927 in Pittsburg, PA. He was a son of the late Clarence Stanley Lintner, Sr. and Mary Butler Lintner.

He was a member of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War. He was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, where he sung in the choir. He loved to tinker on electronics, a member of the Lions Club, playing bingo and doing arts and crafts.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; sons, Stephen Lintner of Winston-Salem, NC and Stanley E. Lintner (Susan) of Pottersville, NY; daughter, Susanna Ruth Bott of Greenville, SC; brother, Philip Lintner of Sun City, AZ. ; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; special friends, Jan Holiday and Michelle Wise. He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and wife Mary Cole Lintner.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Larry Zaky. Memorial are suggested to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, 308 W. Main Street, Bennettsville, SC 29512.
