Bennettsville Mrs. Mary Caulder Meggs passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at Dundee Manor in Bennettsville. She was 91 years old. Mrs. Meggs was born in Cheraw on July 3, 1927 to the late George Sr. and Ellen Roller Caulder.

She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bennettsville, where she was a member of the choir. She worked as a technician for Es Wire. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and entertaining friends.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; brother, Rev. George Caulder, Jr. and wife Shirley of Bennettsville; cousin, Patty Oxendine of Clio; a very special friend, Melanie Honeycutt. Mrs. Meggs was preceded in death by her parents listed above; husband, Solomon David Meggs; brother, William Caulder.

A funeral service will be held 4pm, Thursday, May 30, 2019 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by Rev. Thomas Buck and Rev. Dr. Eddie Pruitt, with burial at Brownsville Baptist Church Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 pm at the church prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to: First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 457 Salem Road, Bennettsville, SC 29512. On-line condolences may be made @ www.
