Claryce Lenore Eggli was born in Chicago on November 5, 1933 and moved to Traverse City in 1935. She graduated from TC Central High School in 1951. Claryce’s dream was to be a wife and mother.

She married Donald Eggli in 1953 and had three sons Mark Eggli, David (Charlene) Eggli, and Steven (Kimberly) Eggli. Claryce was a terrific grandmother who loved her six grandchildren (Kristin, James, Rick, Scott, Jessica, and Brendan) and four great grandchildren (Lilah, Kaison, Braelynn, and Owen). She also has many nieces and nephews who she adored.

Claryce succeeded in fulfilling her dream. She was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and friend who will be greatly missed. Claryce was preceded in death by her husband Donald, mother Evelyn Nutten, sister Patsy Oatley, and brothers Vernon and Thomas Dekker.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent in her honor to Hospice of Northern Michigan or charity of one’s choice.
