Obituary for Claude Dale Johnson Claude Dale Johnson, age 75 of Searcy, died Friday, September 14, 2018, in Searcy. He was born April 19, 1943, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to Claude Chauncy Johnson and Isa Opal Garton Johnson. He was an electrical engineer and a deacon at College Church of Christ.

He loved spending time with his family and always had a joke to share. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen Johnson of Searcy; one son, Craig Dale Johnson and wife Kara of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter, Heather Dawn Curtis of Fort Smith; and eight grandchildren, Trevor Curtis and wife Kristen of Fort Smith, Hannah Johnson of Edmond, Austin Curtis of Searcy, Sarah Johnson of Edmond, Abigail Johnson of Edmond, Kyle Curtis of Fort Smith, Caleb Johnson of Edmond, and Dylan Curtis of Fort Smith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Opal Johnson, and one sister, Louise Spearman.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at College Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at College Church of Christ. Interment will be at 4:00 pm at Upper Campground Cemetery at Kingston, Arkansas.
