Obituary for Winfred L. Louks Winfred L. Louks, 71, of Judsonia, died Friday, December 28, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born March 12, 1947 in Searcy a son of the late A.G. and Wanda (King) Louks. Winfred was employed by Sheehan Pipeline Construction where he worked as a lowboy driver, an occupation he was very proud of.

He was also very proud of the black 1972 Chevy pickup that he and his brother Michael restored together. He enjoyed driving his truck in local parades and entering it in car shows. Mr. Louks loved to joke, laugh and live life to the fullest.

He atteneded the River in Judsonia. The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the entire staff of the Oncology Department at Unity Health for treating Winfred like family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Sandy Louks; daughters, Lisa Brown (George) of Searcy and Missy Hopkins (Eddie) of Judsonia; 2 brothers, Alfred Louks (Chestine) of Bald Knob and Michael Louks (Amanda) of Judsonia; 2 sisters, Sharon Ferren (Charles) of Judsonia and Millie Cook (Michael) of Palestine, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Although Winfred had no grandchildren of his own, he leaves behind his 3 special granddogs, Izzy, Addie and Libby. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Services will be conducted Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the White County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia.
