Obituary for Howard “Buddy” Johnston Howard “Buddy” Johnston, 88, of Rose bud, died November 30, 2018. He was born October 30, 1930 to Cloyd and Loyce Varley Johnston in Kensett, Arkansas. He was a Deacon of South Heights Free Will Baptist Church.

Buddy is survived by his loving wife, Modene Childers Johnston; sons, Douglas Johnston and wife, Susan of Rose Bud and Keith Johnston of Rose Bud; daughter, Lynda Price and husband, Steve of Searcy; grandchildren, Chris Johnston, Stephanie (Wayne) Altom, Dena (Jeffrey) Hebert and Kayla (Allen) Hoofman; 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy and Norris Johnston. A Visitation will be Monday, December 3 from 6:00-8:00pm and Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 4 at 10:00am, both at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment held in Sidon Cemetery. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.
