OBITUARY Cleo B. Adelman March 20, 1938 – January 30, 2019 Cleo B. Adelman, age 80 of Rootstown, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at UHPMC. She was born March 20, 1938, in Stinson, West Virginia, to parents Oatha and Maysel (May) Drake. Cleo was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother, who had a special place in her heart for all children.

She was a member of Community Bible Church. Cleo enjoyed flowers and gardening, and had a deep love for butterflies. She was a talented seamstress and a great cook.

Cleo also enjoyed the outdoors, especially with her family as she was fishing, deer hunting, or camping. Cleo is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years George Adelman, her children: Reginia (Keith) Eckmeyer, Adrian Brown, Skip (Janet) Adelman, Michelle Adelman, and Sandy Rice, as well as her siblings: Ford (Darlene) Drake, Jean (Ed) Blacklock, and Crickette (Don) Traxler. Her memory will also be cherished by her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents, her son Nolen Brown, and her siblings: Pauline, Jack, Mart, Ruth, and Raymond. Friends and family will be received Monday, February 4, 2019, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with Pastor Scott Hindel officiating the funeral service at 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. There will also be a time to celebrate Cleo’s life on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Community Bible Church, 3671 Tallmadge Rd.
