OBITUARY Grace Josephine Pennell May 20, 1931 – January 6, 2019 Grace Josephine Pennell, age 87 of Freedom Township, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, while residing at Stow-Glen. She was born May 20, 1931, in Milan, Ohio, to parents John E. and Mary (Sapp) Dixey. Grace was an amazing homemaker and also worked in the cafeteria for Garfield Schools for 20 years.

She was devoted to her family, was a talented seamstress who enjoyed traveling and had many loving friends. Grace is survived by her children: Douglas Pennell and Diane (Jim) Horovitz, her grandchildren: Kristopher Pennell, Alex Horovitz, Adam Horovitz, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and her husband Harold Pennell Jr. Friends and family will be received Friday, January 11, 2019, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Laurie Metzko at 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
