Obituary for Colette Holte Colette Darlene Holte passed away May 18, 2018 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, ND under the care of CHI Health at Home and Hospice. She was born to Carl and Clara Holte of rural Litchville, ND. Colette lived with her parents on a farm until they moved to Valley City, ND.

She was very active at the Open Door Center for a number of years. Colette was raised in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Valley City. In 2013, Colette moved to the Sheyenne Care Center and made many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Gladys Boelter, Janice Hemmer, Enid Opdahl, one brother, Raymond Holte, and three nephews. Colette is survived by a number of nieces and nephews who are grateful for the loving care she has received from many caregivers over the years. Thank you to the staff at the Sheyenne Care Center, and a special thank you to Pat North of Valley City who not only was her caregiver for over 20 years, but a wonderful friend to Colette.

A service to honor the life of Colette Holte will be held in the Chapel of Saint Raphael at Sheyenne Care Center Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00pm. Visitation will be one hour before the service. She will be laid to rest with her parents in Memory Gardens.
