Colleen Lynn Buckner passed away November 8th, 2018. Born September 19th, 1945 in Denver, Colorado to Charles and Elizabeth Declerque. She was married to Thomas Roy in 1961 and then married to Franklin Buckner in 1969.

Preceded in death by her parents, her sister, and two husbands. She is survived by her three children (Thomas Roy Jr, Corrina Roy, and Charlene DelVescovo), her two grandchildren (Amber May and Miranda Hewson), and great-grandson (Kendrix Hewson). She was the head cook for Englewood Schools and achieved a certificate for computer skills at Pikens Tech College.

Colleen loved her family. She took great pride in caring for everyone. Her unconditional love and feisty personality are what everyone knew her by.

Colleen was a strong lady who never gave up. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be held at the Bullock Chapel and Mortuary on Wednesday November 14th at 11am and reception to follow at the VFW Post 9644 in Englewood CO.
