Conrad Lester Thompson of Brant, died Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was 86 years of age. Conrad was born July 23, 1932, in Detroit to the late Harold and Marjorie (Robson) Thompson.

He was a resident of Detroit moving to Brant in 1989. He served in the US Army from August 1948 to May 1952. He was united in marriage to Evelyn Irene Evans on August 15, 1953.

Mr. Thompson retired in 1986 from General Motors in Livonia with 37 years seniority and was a member of the UAW. He attended the Chesaning Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Conrad enjoyed playing his harmonica, whistling, reading and talking to friends.

Surviving are: wife, Evelyn; children: Raymond (Cheryl) Thompson of Pinckney, Lisa Marshall, MD of Sand Lake, Tammy (Pat) Lerum of NY, Dale Thompson of NY; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings: Harold Thompson of FL, Marjorie Swamp of MI, David Cotton of MI; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by brothers Don and Tom. Private memorial services will be announced at a later date.
