Constance M. Light, 80, of Masonic Village, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Born in Hershey, she was the daughter of the late Beatrice (Risser) and Walter Monroe Victor Dice. Constance was the wife of the late J. Robert Klinger and the late Cyril Lindley Light.

Constance was a registered nurse and held a Master’s in Education from Temple University and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Lebanon Valley College. She graduated from the Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital School of Nursing. Her career began in Pennsylvania and took her to New Mexico, Germany, and Ohio before her retirement from the Veterans Administration where she served as a Community Health Nurse.

Constance is survived by three children, Mary Beth Klinger of King George, VA; Carolyn Galvin, wife of Raymund of Bainbridge Island, WA; and J. Robert Klinger II, husband of Karen of Whately, MA; four grandchildren; and three brothers, George Dice, husband of Maribel of Red Lion; John Dice, husband of Christine of Elizabethtown; and Jim Dice, husband of Cheryl of Hershey. Constance was a of strength and energy to all who knew her. Her positive “can-do” attitude was infectious and she always saw the best in others.

Kind and caring, yet strong and independent, Constance enjoyed meeting new people, traveling, and spending time with her family. Admired and respected, she enjoyed life and always made the impossible possible. A Memorial Service honoring Constance’s life will be held at the Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, 200 Freemason Drive, Elizabethtown on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 11 AM.

Family and friends will be received at the Chapel before the service from 10:30 AM to 11 AM. A reception will follow in the Freemasons Cultural Center. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Masonic Village, with suggested contributions to the Wellness Fund, at 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
