Consuelo “Chelito” B. Hernandez, age 93, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at the Christus Santa Rosa Hospital, located in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 24, 1925 in Del Rio. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 67 years, Guillermo Hernandez.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her sons: Roberto Hernandez of Austin, Tx, and Guillermo Hernandez, Jr. and wife Gloria Hernandez of Del Rio; grandchildren: Guillermo M. Hernandez III and Gustavo F.M. Hernandez; Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Devotion. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be scheduled on Saturday, January 26, 2019 (location/time pending). Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
