Obituary for Olga Catalina Sanchez Maldonado Olga Catalina “Doña Cata” Sanchez Maldonado, age 74, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, located in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on November 27, 1944 in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico. Preceding her in death was her beloved husband of 51 years, Jose Angel Maldonado.

Family members left to cherish her memory include her son, Juan Jose Maldonado and Daughter Olga Catalina Maldonado of Del Rio; sisters: Julia Santana of Del Rio, Alicia Sanchez, Santiaga Zapata and family, and Maria de Jesus Sanchez, all of San Carlos, Mx; sisters-in-law: Preciliana Maldonado of Temple, TX , Romanita Maldonado of Temple, TX , Estela Maldonado of Temple, TX , and Maria Maldonado of San Antonio,TX; brother-in-law, Luis Maldonado of Temple, TX; Olga is also survived by her numerous nephews and nieces; Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 9:00 PM in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Our Lady Guadalupe Church (time pending). Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Oak Cemetery in Del Rio, Texas.

Pallbearers will be: Arturo Santana Sanchez, Mauro Santana Sanchez, Rolando Santana Sanchez, Uvaldo Santana Sanchez, Jose Antonio Garcia Hernandez, and Miguel Angel Villanueva Moncada.
