Coty James Pinter, age 28, of Adrian, MI, passed away, November 4, 2018, with his family and friends. He was born September 7, 1990, in Adrian, MI, the son of Robbie Pinter & Michelle Deniston. Coty was a carefree, loving & free spirited person.

He played football for Adrian High School where he received the Battered Hat Award. He then went onto to play football for two years at GRCC. Coty worked as a roofer for Rooftime.

He loved to be surrounded by family & friends and loved to make people to laugh. Coty loved nice clothes, hats & music. He is survived by his mother, Michelle (Pat) Deniston, his stepfather, Jerry C. Hazlett, brother, Aaron M. Hazlett, grandparents, Maria V. Garcia, Dennis (Gail) Pinter, Pam (Roger) Frederick, Charles (Carol) Hazlett and Cathleen Deniston, great grandmother, Betty Townsend, fiance, Rell Reed and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robbie Pinter, two grandfathers, Edmundo G. Rodriguez and Daniel Garcia, three grandmothers, Beverly Meyers, Esther Pinter and Beatrice G. Rodriguez, two uncles, Ronnie R. Rodriguez and Roger Pryor, cousins, Darrick Pryor, Joshua Pryor. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy Adrian, MI with Pastor Alexis Torrez presiding. A dinner to follow at the Adrian Eagles 2570 W. Beecher Adrian, MI.
