Daniel L. Smith, Sr., age 60, of Adrian, MI, passed away, October 30, 2018 He was born June 18, 1958, in Adrian, MI, the son of Dan Smith & Janet Foster. He is survived by his mother, Janet Foster, one son, Daniel Smith, Jr., two daughters, Christina (Mike) Nelms and Destiny Jackson, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Tammy (Marlin) Colburn and Deborah Lee Colburn, two brothers, Mike (Beatrice) Prock and William (Stephanie) Pope and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Smith and brother in law, Glenn Colburn.

Funeral Services will held 2:00 PM Monday, November 5, 2018, at J. Gilbert Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI, with Military Honors performed by the Adrian VFW Post 1584 Honor Guard. Visitation will also be on Monday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
