Cricket Hailey, age 63, resident of Somerville and wife of Mr. Terry Hailey, departed this life Monday morning, July 16, 2018 at her residence. A Gathering of Family Members and Friends will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Cricket was born December 14, 1954 in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of the late Harold Reigner and the late Eva Harper Reigner. She was a graduate of Aurora East High School in Aurora, Illinois and was a former resident of Montgomery, Illinois before moving to the Somerville, Tennessee area in 2015. She was employed as a quality control operator with A.U.T. in West Chicago, Illinois before her retirement in August of 2015.

Cricket was married December 25, 2005 to Mr. Terry Hailey and she was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, motorcycles, her pets and volunteer firefighting and as an EMT. Cricket is survived by her husband, Terry Hailey of Somerville, TN; her daughter, Evette Holt of Aurora, IL; her son, Neiland Holt of Aurora, IL; her stepdaughter, Kristine Wigart (Todd) of Mulkeytown, IL; her stepson, Terry Hailey, Jr. of Aurora, IL; three brothers, Roland Dixon of Big Rock, IL, Keith Dixon of Pensacola, FL, David Dixon of Southern IL; two grandchildren, Hailey Holt, William Holt; five step-grandchildren, Katelyn Hailey, Kenny Hailey, Noah Wigart, Adam Wigart, Nevah Wigart; and her three fur-babies, Stalker, Sniper and Meeka.
