Crissie M. Myers, “Christine”, 99, Johnstown, died July1, 2018, at The Lutheran Home. Born September 15, 1918, in Indiana County, daughter of John and Lucinda (Grow) Bennett. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Christopher; son, Roger, sisters, Blanche Stephens and Erma Clark.

Survived by son Christopher R. (Janet), Greensburg; daughter Elaine Wiegand, Johnstown; daughter-in-law, Louise Myers, Johnstown; grandchildren, Christopher W. Myers (Melissa) Lisa McMahan (James); Patti King (Duane); Sharon Novatny (Matthew); Keith Wiegand (Colleen); Scott Myers; and Michelle Rozich; nine great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was a member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church, and retired from Bethlehem Steel General Services. Christine’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of The Lutheran Home and Windber Hospice for the care given to Christine during her stay there.

“Oh yoy! ” Friends received from 10am until the hour of service at 12 noon, Friday, at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. , with Pastor Terry Knipple officiating.

Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Lutheran Home.
