Crystal made her journey to the Spirit World on June 8, 2018 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Crystal is survived by her son, Christopher Brown of Pine Ridge, SD; mother, Christine Medicine-Red Kettle of Rapid City, SD; brothers, Anthony J. Red Kettle and Leon Red Kettle, Jr. both of Rapid City, SD; aunts, Clarissa Young and Mona Medicine both of Parmelee, SD, Bernie Red Kettle of Wanblee, SD, and Mabel Red Kettle of Minneapolis, MN; and numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins from Rosebud and Pine Ridge, SD.

Crystal was preceded in death by her father, Leon A. Red Kettle, Sr.; daughters, Tashiana Hernandez and Te’ca Clifford; grandparents, Burgess & Isabelle Red Kettle, Antione Medicine, and Lucille Thompson. Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 4:30 PM, Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
