Curtis Carl White, 89, of Dayton, died Sunday, June 17, 2018, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. He was born September 8, 1928, in Cowanshannock Township to the late James C. and Ivy (Hill) White and lived in the area all of his life. He was a Station Engineer with Peoples Gas Company, working there for 31 years.

He attended the New Life Center Assembly of God. He enjoyed gardening and farming. Curtis is survived by his wife, Ruth White, of Dayton; sons, Rick White (Carol) and Dave White (Stacy), all of Yatesboro; granddaughter, Stacy (Tom) Caves, of Valley Township; grandson, Aaron (Joanna) White, of Coronado, Calif.

; step grandson, Garrett Hockenberry, of Yatesboro; great grandsons, Gavin and Cam White, of Coronado, CA; great granddaughters, Jocelynn and Ellie Caves, of Valley Township. Private services were held. Interment in Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.
