Curtiss made his journey to the Spirit World on September 4, 2018 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Curtiss is survived by his children, Myron Pourier, Sr., Curt Pourier, Jr., Cody Pourier, Angeline Barreno, Cash Pourier, Sr., Natalie Pourier, Richard Christensen, and Wiley Pourier; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Lester Pourier, Duane Pourier, and Delbert Pourier; and sisters, Edna Pilcher, Lavonne Pourier-Richards, Deanna Pourier, and Phyllis Pourier.

Curtiss was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert and Olivia (Black Elk) Pourier; brothers, Cecil Pourier, Clarence Pourier, and Dennis Pourier; sister, Carol Pourier-Jacobs, and numerous nieces & nephews. Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Rockyford School Gymnasium Rosary Services: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the Rockyford School Gymnasium with Military Roll Call and Oglala Sioux Tribe Parks and Recreation Roll Call immediately following.
