Cynthia “Cindy” (McClure) Wells, 82, of Rockford, IL passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. Cindy was born August 18, 1936 in Rockford, IL, daughter of Charles and Linda (Falk) McClure. She graduated from Rockford East High School, Class of 1954.

Throughout most of her career, Cindy was employed as an office manager at the law firm of McGreevy, Johnson and Williams. She was a member of Heartland Community Church, and loved her grandchildren so very much. Cindy enjoyed playing cards… Read More » with her friends and was a very social individual.

Cindy will be dearly missed. Surviving relatives include her three children, Scott (Regina) Wells, Michael Wells and Kathleen (Mark) Macias; grandchildren, Nicholas (Paulina) Caronna, Sarah and Zachary Wells; nephews, Charles, David and Patrick; one brother, William (Carma) McClure. Cindy is predeceased by her parents and one brother, Richard McClure.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Heartland Community Church, 1280 S. Alpine Road, Rockford, IL 61108 with Pastor Gordy Smith officiating. Visitation will take place from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the church and also on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will conclude in Willwood Burial Park immediately following the funeral service.
