Dale L. Hasting, 80, of New Carlisle, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, Tuesday, October 2, 2018. He was born February 7, 1938 in Pike Township, OH, the son of the late Harry and Lois Hasting. Dale was a lifelong farmer and also retired from Kaffenbarger Truck Equipment.

He was a member of New Carlisle United Methodist Church. Dale enjoyed spending time on the farm, antique tractors and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Daniel Hasting and sister Donna Bare.

Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years Sandra; sons Doug (Deirdre) Hasting and David (Tammy) Hasting; daughter-in-law Libbee Hasting; grandchildren Anderson, Alexa, Katie, Josh (Megan), Justin and Wade; and niece Heidi (Lee) Rudibaugh. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley or New Carlisle United Methodist Church. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 2-4 PM in Trostel, Chapman, Dunbar & Fraley Funeral Home, with a memorial service at 4:00 PM.
