Dana Boswell Taylor of Ivanhoe, Texas May 22, 1963 – February 21, 2019 Dana Cheree Boswell Taylor, 55, of Ivanhoe, Texas, formerly of Flower Mound, a native of Irving, Texas, died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Baylor, Scott, and White in Dallas. Born May 22, 1963 in Dallas, she is the daughter of Barbara Hicks and the late Jimmie Ray Boswell. She graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving.

She married Gail Alan Taylor June 27, 2010 in Edhube, Texas. The former director of Tourism for Bonham, she had been a member of the Arts Center there, the Kiwanis Club, and Bible Study Fellowship. She was a member of the Rising Son Cowboy Church in Invanhoe.

Dana was a very creative person who loved to scrap book, sketch, paint, and sew, recently winning a best of show for her Victorian gown. Preceded in death by her father Jimmie Ray Boswell in 2012, she is survived by her husband Gail A. Taylor of Ivanhoe, TX; daughter, Bailey Blough and husband Alex of Wylie, TX; sons, Benjamin Bucher of Dallas and Bret Taylor of Kaufman; her mother and step-father, Barbara and George William Hicks of Bonham; a sister, Jacquie Tracy and husband Craig of Flower Mound, TX; and two brothers, Danny Boswell and wife Cindy of Trophy Club, TX and Russel Hicks and wife Karen of Flower Mound, TX. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2019 at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.

The funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Raymond Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 E. Irving Blvd. in Irving.
