He is survived by his son, Matthew A. Garwood; mother, Sharon P. Bloom; father, Charles M. (Sharon) Garwood; uncles, Warren (Jackie) Udisky, Allen (Sheri) Udisky and Dude (Barb) Garwood; many cousins and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 24 at New Agudas Achim Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Congregation Agudas Achim, American Diabetes Assoc. or the National Kidney Foundation.
