Obituary for Daniel David Knievel Print Daniel David Knievel, 62, of Springfield, formally of Sedalia, Missouri passed away on February 10, 2019. He was born March 22, 1956 in Norfolk, Nebraska, the son of Antone and Inez Arehart Knievel. Dan was a member of the Sedalia Elks Lodge, and a 1974 graduate of Smith Cotton High School, and enjoyed reminiscing about his High School Basketball and Football days.

He was a devout Nebraska Cornhuskers Fan! He was preceded in death by his father, and sister Cheryl Knievel Callahan. Dan was survived by his son Koby Knievel of Sedalia, MO, a daughter Danette (Nick) Fessler of Yokosuka, Japan; Grandchildren Roman, and Nicolette Fessler of Yokosuka, Japan; Mother Inez Knievel of Phoenix, AZ; sisters Judy Knievel of Phoenix, AZ and Toni Weise of Sedalia, MO; Brothers, Jim Knievel of Magnolia, TX, and Terry Knievel of Phoenix, AZ, and several nieces and nephews .
