Daniel Dean Brafford, Sr. 72, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Sunday February 3, 2019 at his home. He was born on September 8, 1946 in Otisco, IN to Alfred and Ethel Alford Brafford. He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Louisville, KY and a member of Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany, IN.

Dan survived by his wife Jean Doyle Brafford; sons, Daniel Brafford, Jr., (Amy) and Christopher Brafford (Serena) both of Charlestown; brothers, Theodore C. Brafford of Otisco and James Brafford of Marysville, IN; sisters, Geneva Scruggs and Virginia Jackson both of Charlestown; grandchildren, Stefan Brafford (Debra), Kyrie Brafford-Maloy (Jake), Addy Brafford, Tyler Brafford (Devin), Gage Brafford and Cody Brafford (Dillon); great grandchildren, Cooper and MaKenzie Maloy and Lana Brafford. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday February 6, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday and after 9 am on Wednesday.

Expresssions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
