Roosevelt Davis, Jr., 47 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN. He was born on October 26, 1971 in Jeffersonville, IN to Roosevelt and Maxine Sumner Davis. He was a former employee of Rhodes, Inc and had delivered papers for the Courier Journal.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt Davis, Sr.; and a brother Michael Ray Davis. Survivors include his mother, Maxine Davis of Charlestown; brothers, George W. Davis, Leonard Davis and Jaycee Davis, Sr., all of Charlestown; sisters, Linda Cross and Vada Spear of Charlestown; wife, Elizabeth Davis of Charlestown; sons, Harlington and Rudy Rodriguez both of Charlestown and his dog Palomo. Life Celebration Services will be held at 2 pm on Friday May 24, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Old Salem Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 pm to 8 pm on Thursday and after 9 am on Friday.
