Thelma Josephine Davidson, 87 of Charlestown, Indiana passed on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. Thelma was born on November 4, 1931 in Vesta, Indiana to John Herbert and Helen Jane (Goforth) Jones. She was preceded by her parents; sisters, Ruth Davidson, Ruby Crider, Lavone Kemple and Jeanetta Mattingly; brother, Buford Jones; Grandson’s, Shane Davidson and Troy Davidson.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Davidson; son, Johnny W. Davidson (Janet), daughters, Barbara Gillespie (Kevin) of Charlestown, IN, Debra Richmer (Anthony) of Charlestown, IN, Teresa Cissell (William) of Underwood, IN; brother, Rev. Charles Jones (Janet) of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Larry Gillespie, Shawna Gillespie, Nicole Lawrence, Ethan Richmer, Jake Hatter, Alicia Hatter, Jeremy Cissell, and Joshua Cissell; great grandchildren, Lucas Gillespie, Tyson Nipple, Shaelynn Hatter, Morgan Guthrie, Emelei Cissell, Elijah McDowell, Hannah Cissell, Jehonnas Colvin, Joey Colvin, Lilly Gillespie, Lincoln Gillespie, Beckam Nipple, Makenzie Hatter, Claudia Colvert, Corbyn Coleman, Fallen Coleman, Kayleb Elrod, and William Kannapel. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 9, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and Sunday March 10, from 10:00 am until time of service.
