Mildred Parrish Fields, 79 of Otisco, IN passed away on Thursday March 14, 2019 at her home after battling Alzheimer’s Disease for several years. She was born on April 14, 1939 in Marysville, IN to Lester and Inez Robinson Reis. Mildred was a former C.N.A. at the Medical Center of Southern Indiana and a life member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and a caregiver to the Otisco Area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wesley T. Parrish in 1993; son, Joseph D. Parrish in 1979; brothers, Everett and John Reis. She is survived by her husband, William Fields; daughters, Yolinda Keith (Phil) and Michelle Wagner (Urban) both of Charlestown; son, Wesley E. Parrish (Robin) of Amo, IN; sister, Mary Crosby (John) of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Missy, Landon, Tonya (Tom), Nathan (Misty), Daniel (Ally) and Shelby and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 pm on Monday March 18, 2019 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Sunday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown and after 11 am Monday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation at www. umdf.org or at 8085 Saltsburg Road Suite #201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239.

This foundation was close to her heart in honor of her son Wesley. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Kayla Terry and Carol Combs and Premier Hospice.
