Daniel J. Hirsch Age 63, of Paris Township, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Aurora Burlington Memorial Hospital. Dan was born December 9, 1954 to John and Susanne (nee Hubbell) Hirsch in Chicago, IL. His early life was spent in LaGrange Park, IL where he graduated from Fenwick High School.

On February 11, 1996 he was united in marriage to Nancy Wagner in Waukegan, IL. In 2009 they moved to Paris Township. Dan worked as a Civil Engineer.

He was an active member of St. Paul’s… Read More » Lutheran Church: Dan was on the Board of Elders and served as the Church Treasurer. In his leisure time Dan enjoyed Cycling and Sailing. Dan is survived by his wife Nancy, mother Susanne Hirsch, children Matthew (Jessica) Hirsch and Edward Hirsch, grandchildren, Kianna and Skyler Hirsch.

He is further survived by his sisters Maria Hirsch and Samantha (Harvey) Siy, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father John, siblings John Hirsch Jr. and Claudia Reardon. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church designated for special projects.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 16 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor David Ramirez officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and also on Saturday, June 16th from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at church, before the service. Burial will follow service at Union Grove Cemetery.
