Richard D. Wyttenbach, 78, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Born on the family farm in Green County, WI on November 6, 1939, he was the son of Alfred and Inez (nee Moen) Wyttenbach. He spent his early life in the Monroe area where he attended Postville Rural School near Blanchardville and graduated from New Glarus High School.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, enjoyed vegetable gardening, traveling and was a wonderful home maintenance man who always had some sort of project he was working on. He is survived by his children, Richard Wyttenbach and Laura (Paul) Smith; fiancé, Joan Varick; and 6 grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings, Judy (Randy) Paulson, Joey (Art) Gilbertson, Virgil (Peggy) Wyttenbach, Jerry (Sharon) Wyttenbach and Luther Wyttenbach, along with nieces, nephews,, other relatives and friends. Services for Richard will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church – Burlington.
