James W. Dix, 65, of Sturtevant, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Born in Salem on August 22, 1952, he was the son of Billy and Rose (nee Cramer) Dix. He spent his early life in Salem where he attended school.

On February 17, 1973, at St. John the Baptist Church, he was united in marriage to Lynn Gahart. Jim worked at Gateway Technical College. Jim is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lynn; sons, Jeff Dix and Heath (Dina) Dix; grandsons,… Read More » Kellen and Brenden, and granddaughter, Charlee.

He was preceded in death by his son, Billy and daughter, Korina. A Graveside Service for Jim will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Paris Township.
