Irma Adam, 92, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Aurora Memorial Hospital in Burlington. Born in Ostrowka, Poland, she was the daughter of Emil and Mathilde (nee Rahn) Remus. She spent her early life in East Prussia.

On December 1, 1945 she was united in marriage to Waldemar Adam. Following their marriage, they made their home in Keekamp, Germany where they raised their family. Waldemar preceded her in death.

Irma is survived by her children, Ulrich Adam, Helmut Adam and Jurgen Adam; her grandchildren Jessica Sanborn, Jennifer Holmberg, Heather Christenson, Rebecca Pieters, Mark Adam, Steve Adam, Brian Adam and Brent Adam.

Also surviving are 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

Interment will be held at Arlington Cemetery on August 6, 2018.
