He was born March 14, 1951 in Union City, Pa. a son of the late Walter J. and Jean Jaquith Ingalls. Dan was raised and educated in Amity Twp.

and graduated from Wattsburg High School. After his graduation, he attended Penn State Behrend College until he was drafted into the United States Army in March of 1971. He served with the Military Police in Korea until his Honorable Discharge.

Dan returned to the area and worked for several business including the former Chautauqua Hardware as a machinist for several years. He then received his Degree as a Licenced Practical Nurse and worked at Jones-Hill Rehabilitation Center and Asprire both in Jamestown, NY. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 174 in Lakewood, NY.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being out doors. Dan especially liked being with his family and time with his grandchildren. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Dan is survived by his wife Kathryn “Kathy” A. Triscuit Ingalls whom he married on March 15, 1981 in Lakewood, N.Y.; a daughter, Rochelle French (Jeff) of Erie, Pa. ; two sons, Trevor French of Erie, Pa and Jason French (Audrey) of Jamestown, NY. ; a sister, Brenda Smith (Craig) of Union City, Pa.

and two brothers, Douglas Ingalls (Pam) of Edinboro, Pa. and David Ingalls (Jodi) of Cambridge Springs, Pa. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa . on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and attend the funeral service there on Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. Jonathan Fehl will officiate.
