Daniel Rose Jr. – 02/13/1926 – 05/04/2018 Daniel peacefully went home to be with his Lord on May 4, 2018. He is pre-deceased by his parents: Daniel Rose Sr. of Springville PA and Mary Rose of Binghamton NY, siblings Donald (Jerry) Rose of Simi Valley CA, and Carole Reynolds of Binghamton NY. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Louise M. Rose and eight children: Sharon Peart, Sandra McMillen Koba, Elizabeth and Dick Ingraham, Jeannine and Jack White, Diane and Jim Mooney, Daniel Rose III, Raymond and Jean Rose and Gary and Dana Rose.

He leaves behind many relatives and friends, including beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren. Daniel was born in Springville PA, and later moved to Binghamton where he worked various jobs before settling with Binghamton Construction in 1950 (later to become Barrett Allied Chemical), where he was employed for forty years before retiring in 1990. His hobbies included: hunting, fishing, traveling, and driving his “caddies”.

He was a hard-working and devoted family man, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm at the Hopler & Eschbac Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 pm.
