Our loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Normile; daughter Rosemary Cavazos and son Ed Normile. She is survived by her children Peggy (Mike) Saam, Cissy (Mike) Lanzoni, Joanne (John) VanVorce, Pete (Kathy) Normile, Mike (Bobbie) Normile, Patty (Barry) Saam, Bridget (Clay) Cook, Eileen Normile; daughter-in-law Cindy Normile; son-in-law Jessie Cavazos; 25 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; also surived by her brother Martin Zelsnack and sister Betty Nitsche.

She was the organist, vocalist and a choir member of St Mary’s Church in Kirkwood. A retired employee of UHS Binghamton. She enjoyed music, puzzels, camping, traveling, experimental cooking and baking.

She was loved by many and left a positive mark on everyone’s heart. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 6 to 8pm at the THOMAS J. SHEA FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 137 Robinson St. Binghamton, NY 13904.

A Funeral Mass held on Monday at 11am at St. Mary’s Church in Kirkwood. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Whitney Point. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Transfiguration Monastery, 701 NY-79, Windsor, NY 13865 in her memory.
