Angelo D. Stillittano, age 77 of Binghamton, NY passed away on Thursday June 28, 2018 surrounded by his wife and children. Angelo is survived by his beloved wife Paula of 55 years, daughter Maribeth (Mike) Feinberg of Rhinebeck NY, James (Cathy) Stillittano of Orefield PA and A.J. (Jeanne) Stillittano of Raleigh NC. The “Best Papa Ever” is also survived by his 8 grandsons Dominic, Tyler, Ben, Garrett, Nicholas, Alex, Jimmy and Paul.

Papa had rock star status with his grandsons bundled with a unique & special relationship with each one. Angelo was predeceased by his parents Bruno & Antoinette Stillittano, brothers Carmen and Anthony (Rose Marie). He is survived by his loving brothers Johnny (Diane) & family, Joseph (Louise) & family, brother in law Richard Sukup (Donna) & family.

Survivors also include many nieces, nephews and a loving extended family of close & devoted friends. Angelo was born into a large loving Italian family where together they ran Bruno’s Market. Angelo was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School, Broome Community College and attended SUNY Binghamton.

He retired from the NY Telephone Company after 30 years. In addition, Angelo served our county in the Army National Guard. Kindness, love and laughter were the gifts he left to all that he touched.

His light will be with us always. Our family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Christine Fenlon, Dr. Ronald Harris & Debra Schaffer NP and all the wonderful, caring staff of Broome Oncology. As Angelo was surviving on the gift of others through blood donations please consider giving blood to the American Red Cross, donating to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS.org) or the Danielle House in lieu of flowers.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 2nd at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Binghamton. Family will receive friends from 11:30am until the time of service. Entombment will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
