Obituary for Daniel R Rodia Sr. Daniel R. Rodia Sr., 86, of Mentor, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born Sept.
14, 1932, in Bridgeport, Conn. , he had been a resident of Lake County for 52 years, living in Fairport Harbor before moving to Mentor. Daniel was the manager of Palisades IV Bowling Center in Mentor for 33 years.
He was an avid golfer, and member of the Mentor Men’s Golf Association. Daniel was the loving father of Vincent D. Rodia, Daniel R. Rodia Jr., Mark T. (Missy) Rodia and Anthony J. Rodia; stepfather of Ciro Grandini and Kim Manfredi; cherished grandfather of Brook, Cory, Melissa, Nick, Kim, Brittney, Dawn, Domenic, Gino, Ciro and Ciara; great-grandfather of Braden T. Grysban, Aubree, Luis, Avah, Cory, Cai, Chase, Braden and Ariana; brother of Robert V. (Barbara) Rodia; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine Rodia; son, Michael L. Rodia; and parents, Daniel J. and Eleanor (nee Roberti) Rodia.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be private.
