Obituary for Daniel Rubin Bolden Dan Bolden went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 9, 2018 at age 84. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Glasscock Bolden; two sons, Barry (Deneen) Bolden and Bruce (Gayla) Bolden; four grandchildren, Blake Bolden, Brianna (Aaron) Evans, Alyssa (Eric) Tucker and Brady Bolden; one great granddaughter, Macie Tucker; siblings, Raymond (Joyce) Bolden, Joyce Hartsfield, Dina Sprouse; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dan is preceded by his parents, Lathey and Elon Bolden; and siblings Calvin Bolden, Decima Jones, Eva Glaze, and Terry Bolden.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Dan was a member of Christway Church of God. He loved his family and everyone he came in contact with.

Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at The New Gardendale Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakwood Memorial Gardens.
