Daniel X. Hodge, 29, of St. Louis, MO, passed away July 6, 2018, at his home. Memorial services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, July 28, 2018, Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave. , Moline.

Cremation rites have taken place. Memorials may be made to the Bishop T.D. Jakes Ministries. Daniel was born on June 3, 1989, in Moline, the son of Javier V. and Stacey R. (DeDecker) Ojeda.

Daniel attended United Township High School before graduating from Scott Community College where he was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and earned his Associate in Applied Science Degree in Auto Collision Repair. He had been employed as an Independent Appraiser for Property Damage Appraisers, Inc. Daniel was a car enthusiast who also loved to spend time with his family and close friends. Survivors include his parents, Javier and Stacey of Silvis; siblings, Sarah K. DeDecker of Silvis, Javier S. Ojeda of Moline, and Karise Allen of Philadelphia; nephews, Julius and Jaxson; aunt, Julie L. Carlin of Moline; cousins, Jeremy (Jodi) Spellious of East Moline, Zach Spellious of Silvis, and Riley Carlin of East Moline; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Hodge and Ojeda families.

Memories may be shared on the tribute wall.
