He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Shirley Billiot Kingrey; sons, Dannie Kingrey Jr. (Hong), Gene Kingrey (Karen), Roy Verrett (Kym), and Troy Verrett; daughters, Rocky Naquin (Kelli) and Hellianna V. Washington (Tiffany Washington); grandchildren, Roxanne, Dannie, Victor, Rick, Blaze, Alexis, Alex, Kyle, Mary, Daniel, Jade, Noah, Kerrie, Derek, and Little David; many other great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
