Mr. Danny W. Wilkerson, 63, of Twin City passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Wilkerson was born January 23, 1955 in Swainsboro to the late John Dan Wilkerson and Mary Loucille Hall Wilkerson. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Jane Bedgood and Norma Roberson; brothers; Donny Wilkerson and Johnny Wilkerson.

Mr. Wilkerson was employed by OMI/Jacobs for 25 years, he was Project Manager in the Waynesboro Office. Mr. Wilkerson loved spending time with his wife and family. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting coins, and watching old westerns, especially Bonanza and Gunsmoke.

Mr. Wilkerson attended Dellwood Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ellen Wilkerson of Twin City; son, Michael (Marcie) Womack of Swainsboro; daughters, Missy (Anthony) Douglas of Midville, Amy (Chris) Stewart of Waynesboro, and Brandy (Bryan) Kubitz of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Carolyn (Jerry) Odom of Swainsboro, Shirley (Larry) Henry of Soperton, Patricia (Wayne) Mason of Swainsboro, and Jackie (Wesley) King of Norristown; grandchildren, Dylan Womack, Lily Womack, Lanna Douglas, Lauree Douglas, Ames Stewart, Ally Stewart, Cole Kubitz and Jacks Kubitz; several nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at Dellwood Baptist Church 3 p.m. Friday afternoon, January 4, 2019 with Rev Joe Bedgood and Rev Tim Nary officiating.

Interment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery & Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday afternoon prior to services at Dellwood Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Jerry Coalson, Albert Smith, Keith Bell, Chris Flanders Kip Farthing and Wesley King.
