Darell E. Dean, 65, of Sylvania, OH, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at the Ebied Hospice Residence, Sylvania. Darrell, a 1971 graduate of Lake High School, owned and operated his own semi-truck for many years. In the years prior, he served as a Police Officer with the Genoa and Put in Bay Departments.

He was an avid Harley Davidson owner and rider. Darell is survived by his wife Karen L. Dean; daughter Jennifer (Tommy) Hawkins; son David (Tracey) Dean; 7 grandchildren; sisters Pamela Saksa and Rhonda Scott; step-daughter Tiffany (Kevin) Henisse; 2 step grandchildren; and his faithful feline companion Bambi. Karen would like to thank the 4th and 7th Floor nurses and staff at Flower Hospital and the staff at Ebied Hospice for their loving care and compassion during this difficult time.

Friends may call at the Reeb Funeral Home 5712 N. Main St. Sylvania, OH, Thursday (Today) from 2 – 8 PM, where Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 2nd at 11 AM.
