Darin Russell Hite, 47, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday, January 11, 2019 in his home. He was born on October 13, 1971 in Southfield, MI to David and Therese “T.C.” Hite. A 1990 graduate of Alpena High School, Darin attended Northern Michigan University.

He was most recently employed at Ventra in Sandusky, and he previously worked for Great Wolf Lodge. However, his most beloved career was at Cedar Point where he worked many years. Put best by his family, Darin was crazy, intelligent, and “uniquely made by God”.

He was loved by all who met him, was fiercely loyal, hardworking, and loved his family immensely. Darin is survived by his beloved family: mother and father, Therese “T.C.” and David “Dave” Hite, of Oldsmar, FL; and brother, Matthew “Matt” Hite, of Tarpon Springs, FL. A memorial gathering, to reflect and celebrate, will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 20 in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave.
