Cannelton, Indiana Darlene Malone, 69, passed away June 21, 2018 at her home. She was born on December 20, 1948 to the late Porter and Dorothy (Sommer) Fulkerson. Also preceding her in death was her daughter, Staci Lea Malone and a sister, Joyce Ann Fulkerson.

Darlene was a 1966 graduate of Cannelton High School. She was united in marriage on August 25, 1973 to Pat Malone. Darlene enjoyed listening to music and attending concerts and musicals, reading and shopping.

Surviving is her husband, Pat Malone, Cannelton; daughter, Mitzi Morris (Perry), Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers, Richard “Rooster” Fulkerson (Betty) and Jim Fulkerson, all of Cannelton. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM CST Monday, June 25, 2018 at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel. Burial will follow in St. Marks Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00-6:00 PM and Monday 9:00-11:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Perry County Animal Shelter of Perry County Humane Society.
