David Arthur Laning, age 58, of Sycamore, Illinois, formerly of Naperville, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018. He was born December 31, 1959 in El Paso, Texas. David is survived by his loving mother, Betty Laning (nee O’Neal); three siblings, Rev.

James (Margaret) Laning, Nancy (Kevin) Wiskari, and Susan Laning; nieces Hayley, Breanna, Rachel and Kassidy Wiskari, Heather (Joe) Regnerus, Amy (Travis) Kooima, Olivia and Julianne Laning and nephews Dakota and Carson Wiskari, Benjamin (Becky),… Read More » Peter, Michael, and Samuel Laning, as well as several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerrit Laning, Jr. David was a prolific reader, writer of poetry and short stories, a devout Christian with vast Biblical knowledge, and an avid guitar player. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm service at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 516 S. Washington St. Naperville.
