David Daniel Lewis, Jr., 73 of Newnan, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. David was born January 26, 1946 in Newnan to the late David Daniel Lewis, Sr. & Frances Beckom Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Kevin Lewis and siblings, Mary Lee Lewis, Emily Lewis, and Charlotte Blankenship.

David was proud of his many years of service as a bus driver for special needs children in Coweta County. David was a veteran of the US Navy where he served on the aircraft carrier USS Independence. The graveside service is 11 o’clock Monday, February 11, 2019 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev.
